Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan bake). Grease the dish liberally with butter or spray.
Place a sieve over a small pan and strain the berries from the syrup. Tip the berries into the prepared dish
Place the pan with syrup on the heat and reduce by half. Set aside.
Tip all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and briefly blitz until smooth.
Pour the batter over the berries. Bake for 20-25 minutes until a skewer comes out clean from the middle. It can still be a little wobbly, it will continue to set once cooling.
Allow to cool for 10 minutes before drizzling with syrup and serving.
